We wish to recruit a Quantity Surveyor to work in our busy project office in Chepstow.

You main duties will include making monthly applications for payment; dealing with contract variations and claims; negotiating final accounts; valuing applications received by us from sub-contractors; advising on contractual terms at tender and pre-contract stage; liaising with our project managers and accounts department in respect of monthly contract work-in-progress valuations. From time to time you may be required to take on the project management of certain projects.

This is a Senior appointment and ideally you will have held a similar position previously. You will be fully conversant with the main construction sub-contracts and are likely to have formal qualifications although consideration will be given to suitably experienced applicants.

The position is full time and permanent although we will consider initially employing on a temporary or part-time basis.
