Architen Landrell is seeking an experienced sailmaker to join and lead our sewing department.

The role requires you to manage a small team of sewing technicians, monitoring quality and performance and keeping abreast of new developments within the industry. You will have responsibility for maintaining the efficiency and organisation of your department. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will work along side project managers in delivering bespoke structures and products.

Ideally the candidate for this position will have strong technical ability using sewing and overlocking machinery, a good knowledge and understanding of patterning principles, excellent understanding of fabrics and their properties and attention to every detail and a quality-first attitude. They must also have good project management and problem solving skills, computer literacy and the ability to liaise professionally with clients and their representatives.
