The installation of a high tech ventilation system to the existing Architen Landrell structure
As original manufacturers of the David Beckham Academy structure, we were asked to design and install a ventilation system.
Air exchange and movement analysis was undertaken to establish the requirements for the ventilation system for such a vast area. Using a combination of inlet and extract fans the required air exchange rate was archived.
The ventilation system is controlled using a Moeller PLC Modbus unit. Each fan has a Moeller inverter motor drive networked up with a Modbus touch screen controller which controls all fans from a central location. The control system has a number of presets for time and fan speeds, it’s also possible to override the current running preset, in a similar fashion to a central heating controller. The touch screen also reports back on the status of the fans.
